FLANDERS - COUNTY OF FLANDERS - LOUIS I OF CRÉCY - LOUIS II

(1346-1384)

Louis de Male, son of Louis, the Count of Flanders killed at the Battle of Crécy (1346), will try to maintain a policy of strict neutrality between the King of France and that of England. In 1382, he became count of Burgundy.
