Monnaie frappée sur un flan un peu court, mais revers complet avec la légende en bord de flan. Le visage est en bord de flan, mais avec le haut du crane hors flan. Sinon très bons reliefs et agréable patine grise de collection

Ce type monétaire copie celui des sceattas anglais et doit être attribué à la Frise. Ce type n'est pas spécialement rare, mais la tête est presque toujours à droite et non pas à gauche, comme c'est le cas sur cet exemplaire. Un sceat comparable a été vendu dans MONNAIES XI, n° 620.
This coin type copies that of the English sceattas and must be attributed to Frisia. This type is not particularly rare, but the head is almost always on the right and not on the left, as is the case on this example. A comparable sceat was sold in COINS XI, No. 620
