Rare bronze de qualité exceptionnelle pour le droit, avec l'épigraphie complète. Revers bien centré, mais frappe molle au niveau de la légende. Patine sombre, homogène au doit, mais un peu croûteuse au revers, avec des zones rougeâtres

Комментарий
Le style et la conservation, particulièrement du portrait, sont exceptionnels ! La légende TIVIS est complète devant le visage, mais NERONKEN se devine à peine au revers sous le cheval. Ce type de bronze est apparenté au monnayage celtibère transpyrénéen ou "ibérico-languedocien".

This small people is neither cited by Ptolemy nor by Strabo any more than by Caesar. He must have belonged to the more general group of Longostaletes, in the region between Narbonne and Béziers. It is the recent excavations, carried out over the past thirty years, which have made it possible to restore to the oppida of Montlaurès and Ensérune the importance they had acquired between the creation of the province of Narbonnaise, in 118 BC. C., and the end of the Gallic Wars.
