Les frappes du quatrième groupe se différencient avant tout par le style des portraits : ceux-ci deviennent plus grossiers, occupent moins d’espace. Les types sont moins variés, les quantités fabriquées par type sont mieux équilibrées, nous sommes dans une logique de fabrication monétaire économique standard.
L’identification de l’atelier est certaine grâce aux émissions de présentation qui montrent la Tyché de la ville assise sur un mont, un dieu-fleuve tenant le phare de la ville et nageant à ses pieds.
On note que les sigma sont gravés en C.
Dans la base TSP maintenue par Michel Prieur, quinze exemplaires sont maintenant répertoriés, dont trois en musée, tous à l’American Numismatic Society. Notre exemplaire, qui provient des plateaux de Roland Barthold en 1990, est le 1168_001.
