Exemplaire sur un flan large, légèrement échancré. Très beau portrait. Revers de style fin. A été légèrement nettoyé anciennement

Augustus
Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
