- paire de manche (2 éléments) tissu noir brodé de fils d’or formant des branches de chêne et laurier. Dimensions : petite longueur : 158 mm - grande longueur : 175 mm - largeur des manches : 87 mm. Globalement les dimensions sont les mêmes pour les deux éléments. Poids total des deux éléments (paire de manche) : 162,52g
- Épaulette (1 élément) tissu noir brodé de fils d’or (jaune) formant des feuillages avec trois systèmes de fixation au revers. Dimensions : 130*65 mm - petite largeur : 21 mm. Poids : 30,69g

The news of the capitulation of Sedan provokes the revolution of September 4, 1870 in Paris. Proclaimed at the Hôtel de Ville, the Republic is endowed with a provisional government called the Government of National Defense. Threatened on the left by the insurrection of the Commune and on the right by the monarchists, the new regime had a difficult start..
