v31_0889 - LANGEAIS (ALINGAVIAS) (Indre-et-Loire) Triens, FRATERNVS monétaire

Si le type de droit est légèrement différent, les légendes permettent d'attribuer ce rare triens à Langeais (Alingavias). La légende du revers FRATERNOM commence avec les deux premières lettres en cantonnement de la croix, le F au premier canton et le R au second alors que l'exemplaire B. 92 a une croisette initiale à 12 heures et la légende se développe autour de façon circulaire.
Ce triens constitue donc la seconde variante connue pour le monétaire FRATERNVS. Ce monétaire apparaît aussi sur des monnaies de Chalon-sur-Saône, Limoges et Tours.
Seulement deux triens semble êtres connus pour Langeais, pour deux monétaires différents. Le triens B. 91 pour porte la légende ALINGAVIAS VICO et a une "mouette volant, à gauche" au droit et une croix mixte polarisée sous la croisette qui coupe la légende divisée à sa base en deux rubans formant une sorte de nœud" (B. 91 = P. 78). La légende du revers LEODO + MARE est attribuée au monétaire LEVDOMARVS.
Le second triens, le plus proche de celui proposé ici, est du monétaire FRATERNVS, est décrit comme suit : "A/ +¨.ALINGAVIVS. Buste diadémé, à droite. R/ +FRATE RNOM? Croix grecque polarisée sous la croisette initiale, sur un globule et deux degrés placés dans la zone de la légende qu'ils interrompent".
Although the type of law is slightly different, the legends allow us to attribute this rare triens to Langeais (Alingavias). The legend on the reverse FRATERNOM begins with the first two letters in the canton of the cross, the F in the first canton and the R in the second, while copy B. 92 has an initial cross at 12 o'clock and the legend develops around it in a circular fashion.
This triens therefore constitutes the second known variant for the monetary FRATERNVS. This coin also appears on coins from Chalon-sur-Saône, Limoges and Tours.

The triens B. 91 to bear the legend ALINGAVIAS VICO and has a \\\"seagull flying, left\\\" on the right and a polarized mixed cross under the cross which cuts the legend divided at its base into two ribbons forming a sort of knot\\\" (B. 91 = P. 78). The legend on the reverse LEODO + MARE is attributed to the mint LEVDOMARVS.
The second triens, closest to the one proposed here, is from the monetary FRATERNVS, and is described as follows: \\\"A/ +¨. ALINGAVIVS. Diademed bust, right. R/ +FRATE RNOM? Polarized Greek cross under the initial cross, on a globule and two degrees placed in the area of the legend that they interrupt\\\"
