Exemplaire issu du médaillier Franklin qui met à l’honneur le tableau du Jardin des délices par Jérôme Bosch : il s’agit d’un triptyque énigmatique. Les dernières hypothèses tendent vers un speculum nuptiarum (miroir nuptial) servant à instruire les futurs mariés de l’importance des liens du mariage. Ce triptyque est composé de trois thématiques : le panneau de gauche décrirait l'union conduite par Dieu prenant la forme du Christ d'Adam et Eve, dans le Paradis ; le panneau central représenterait une humanité pécheresse avant le Déluge ; et le panneau de droite offrirait la vision de l'Enfer où les pécheurs subissent les affres de la torture. Ce tableau est conservé au musée du Prado à Madrid.

The latest hypotheses point to a speculum nuptiarum (nuptial mirror) used to instruct the future bride and groom on the importance of the bonds of marriage.
