Drachme sur un flan large, avec un bon centrage ; le droit et le revers sont complet. Patine grise, plus sombre dans les creux au droit et avec une zone de concrétions sombres au revers

Аверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Аверс: описание: Tête stylisée à gauche ; l’oreille marquée et la chevelure particulièrement développée en mèches enroulées avec une sorte de chignon derrière la nuque.

Обратная сторона

Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Реверс: Описание: Croix formée de quatre cantons ornés chacun d'une lunule : balle de fronde aux 1er et 4e cantons, une croisette au 2e canton et une hache au 3e.

Комментарий

Ce type est totalement inédit, tant pour le droit que pour le revers. Le portrait rappelle certaines monnaies languedociennes. Le revers se rapproche stylistiquement des séries cubistes, mais la croisette au second canton ne correspond à rien de connu. Semble être le premier et le seul exemplaire connu pour ce type.
This type is completely new, both on the obverse and reverse. The portrait is reminiscent of certain Languedoc coins. The reverse is stylistically similar to the Cubist series, but the cross in the second canton does not correspond to anything known. It appears to be the first and only known example of this type.
