Лицевая сторона

Аверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Аверс: описание: Tête à gauche, le dessin fruste, avec la hache visible au milieu du visage et le trait reliant le nez.

Обратная сторона

Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Реверс: Описание: Croix formée de quatre cantons ; besant aux 1er , 2e et 4e cantons ; hache évidée à gauche (?) au 3e canton.

Комментарий

Cet exemplaire illustrerait la dégénérescence du type S. 287. Selon G. Savès, les deux traits qui biffent le droit seraient le résultat de la hache supposée du droit de la monnaie précédente.
Toutes les drachmes de ce type semblent sortir du même coin de droit et de seulement deux coins de revers, dont un est caractéristique avec la cassure de coin sur le bras de la croix (Cf. MONNAIES XXIII, n° 729).
This example would illustrate the degeneration of the S. 287 type. According to G. Savès, the two lines that strike out the obverse would be the result of the supposed axe of the obverse of the previous coin. All the drachmas of this type seem to come from the same obverse die and only two reverse dies, one of which is characteristic with the die break on the arm of the cross (Cf. MONNAIES XXIII, n° 729)
