Комментарий

La drachme S. 331, provenant du site de Mailhac dans l'Aude, était le seul spécimen connu avec le triskèle lors de la parution de l'ouvrage de G. Savès. Cette drachme était décrite comme ayant une tête très fruste (?), tant le droit est lisse. Avec la drachme proposée ici, la tête à gauche est évidente. Le revers a été frappé avec le même coin que la monnaie S. 331.
The S. 331 drachma, from the Mailhac site in Aude, was the only known specimen with the triskelion at the time of the publication of G. Savès' work. This drachma was described as having a very crude (?) head, as the obverse is smooth. With the drachma offered here, the head on the left is obvious. The reverse was struck with the same die as the S. 331 coin.
