Exemplaire bien centré pour ce type avec un revers bien venu à la frappe

Комментарий
Semble de même coin de revers que l’exemplaire n° 282 de l’ouvrage de G. Savès (provenant de sa collection), (pl. XVI). Le droit est complètement différent et désarticulé. Nous pouvons cependant distinguer le nez, l’œil et la machoire qui est figurée par une languette. Le globule central semble représenter l’amorce du casque. De même coin de revers que les exemplaires MONNAIES XV, n° 292 et 293 .

This people who occupied most of the departments of Aude and Hérault is mentioned neither by Ptolemy, nor by Strabo, nor by Caesar. Their coinage is known to us only by the treasures of Béziers (Hérault) discovered in 1871 and which contained between 750 and 800 coins of Languedoc style as well as that of Moussan in the Aude, discovered in 1967 and which contained 28 drachmas of style " Languedocian".
