Gros frappé sur un flan large et assez régulier. Monnaie légèrement voilée. Quelques faiblesses de frappe et usures sur les légendes. Petites taches marron et fines rayures dans les champs. Patine grise. Hauts reliefs bien venus à la frappe

LORRAINE - DUCHY OF LORRAINE - JOHN I
(1346-1390)
Jean I first found himself placed under the regency of Marie de Blois. He was taken prisoner at the Battle of Poitiers and was only released after the Treaty of Brétigny (1360). Jean supported Charles de Blois and was taken prisoner at the Battle of Auray. He remained faithful to the French alliance and died in 1390.
