Ce jeton est absent de Feuardent. En 1672, Colbert décida l'aliénation des domaines du roi jusqu'à concurrence de 400000 livres de rente pour renflouer les finances royales. La symbolique du corps est donc tout à fait limpide, puisqu’il s’agit de montrer que les domaines royaux (ici le mouton) ici légèrement amputés (prélèvement de la laine) restent sur pieds et n’en souffre guère.
C’est cet exemplaire qui illustre le type dans le Guéant Prieur.
This token is absent from Feuardent. In 1672, Colbert decided to alienate the king's estates up to 400,000 livres of income to replenish the royal finances. The symbolism of the body is therefore quite clear, since it is a question of showing that the royal estates (here the sheep) here slightly amputated (collection of wool) remain standing and do not suffer much.
