v25_0554 - GALLIA SUDOVESTE DELLA GALLIA - PETROCORII (Regione di Perigueux) Drachme "type de Belvès"

Les drachmes du type de Belvès ne sont déjà pas courantes, mais ce revers est très rare ; seul cinq exemplaires sont répertoriés ; celui-ci (= S. 219), celui de Lyon, les deux de la BN et un autre passé en vente (Burgan 28/09/91, n° 53). "L'arc de cercle et son rayon perlé", tel que le décrivait G. Savès, est simplifié en "ancre" par les auteurs du Moneta 28. Fait inhabituel, la tête du droit est contenue dans un grènetis. Les rayons de la croix du revers sont particulièrement épais !.

Savès, is simplified to \\\"anchor\\\" by the authors of Moneta 28. Unusually, the head of the obverse is contained in a beading. The rays of the cross on the reverse are particularly thick!
