Exemplaire dans un état de conservation exceptionnel avec un magnifique portrait de Philippe II et un revers parfait ! Détails incroyables, monnaie parfaitement centrée, brillant de frappe, coupant d’origine... La monnaie n’a pas de défaut !

Аверс: описание: Buste radié, drapé et cuirassé de Philippe II auguste à droite, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A2).
Аверс: перевод: “Imperator Philippus Augustus”, (L’empereur Philippe auguste).

Реверс: легенда: LIBERALITAS AVGG III.
Реверс: Описание: Philippe Ier et son fils Philippe II assis à gauche sur une chaise curule ; Philippe Ier, qui est sur le premier plan tient un sceptre court de la main gauche.
Реверс: перевод: “Liberalitas Augustorum tertium”, (La troisième Libéralité des augustes).
Комментарий
C’est probablement l’une des plus belles monnaies du trésor. Le revers est le plus beau que nous ayons proposé à la vente ! .

Augustus
Philip II, son of Philip the Arab and Otacilia Severa, was named Augustus in 247. He participated in the commemoration of the millennium of Rome which began on April 21, 247. Philip, his father, was killed at the battle of Verona . Philip II was assassinated shortly thereafter. We do not know what happened to Otacilia Sévéra. Philip II was made Caesar shortly after the accession of his father who awarded him the title of prince of youth.
