Exemplaire sur un flan large, ovale et irrégulier. Beaux bustes. Revers inhabituel de haut relief bien venu à la frappe. Très belle patine vert foncé

PHILIPPUS I and OTACILIA SEVERA
(244-249)
Philip I married Marcia Otacilia Severa before his accession to the throne around 230-235. From this union was born a son, Philip in 237. Otacilia Severa received the title of Augusta at the start of the reign in late 244 or early 245. She was closely associated with coinage. After the disappearance of her husband, her fate remains unknown.
