Le traité de paix israélo-égyptien est signé le 26 mars 1979 à Washington, à la suite des accords de Camp David de 1978. L'Égypte est le premier pays arabe à signer un traité de paix, et, à reconnaître Israël. La Jordanie en fera de même en 1994, avec le traité de paix israélo-jordanien.(c.f. Wikipédia).
Medal preserved in a white box, accompanied by a display consisting of a black base, a perforated blue cardboard and a transparent plastic frame. The Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty was signed on March 26, 1979 in Washington, following the Camp David Accords of 1978. Egypt was the first Arab country to sign a peace treaty and to recognize Israel. Jordan did the same in 1994, with the Israeli-Jordanian peace treaty. (see Wikipedia)
