Exemplaire sur un petit flan mince et irrégulier, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Portrait de toute beauté. Revers de haut relief, bien venu à la frappe. Très jolie patine grise superficielle avec des reflets dorés. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
