Реверс: легенда: PROVIDEN-TIA AVG.
Реверс: Описание: Providentia (la Providence) drapée, debout de face regardant à gauche, tenant un globe de la main droite et un sceptre transversal de la gauche.

Imitation de très bon style. Avec l’intégralité de son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3. Les ptéryges sont bouletées sous le paludamentum.

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
