Exemplaire sur un petit flan épais bien centré avec les grènetis complets. Beau portrait à l’usure superficielle. Très beau revers de haut relief. Jolie patine de collection avec reflets dorés, légèrement granuleuse

Augustus
Quietus is the son of Macrien and the brother of young Macrien. After the capture of Valerian I by Shapur (Sapor), Macrian, general of Valerian I, and Ballista, prefect of the Praetorium, decide to save the East to proclaim august the two sons of Macrian - young Macrian and Quietus. Ballista defeats Sapor at Corcycus and forces the king to retreat across the Euphrates.
