Une des premières apparitions de ce potin semble être le n° 383 de la collection A. Trampitsch, 13-15 novembre 1986. Ce potin y était attribué aux Suessions ou aux Bellovaques. Lors de la parution du Nouvel Atlas, les auteurs l'ont pourtant considéré comme une monnaie "originale" ou inédite, en précisant que "plusieurs provenances ont été signalées au nord de la vallée de la Seine, entre les confluents de l'Aube et de la Marne". Il constitue la variété 2 du “potin à l’Y”. H. Patat le classe quant à lui aux Parisii.
One of the first appearances of this potin seems to be No. 383 of the A. Trampitsch collection, November 13-15, 1986. This potin was attributed to the Suessiones or the Bellovaci.
