Ce type de rouelle en potin est un des mieux attesté comme celtique. Le métal est souvent très proche du potin utilisé pour les monnaies coulées. Ces rouelles furent surtout trouvées (en grand nombre) sur des sanctuaires, mais leur usage monétaire n’est pas à exclure.

Over the past twenty years, roundabouts have become very fashionable objects among the "Celtisians" and we have seen first the objects appear, then the "scientific" reference works which made the amalgamation between pieces really "ancient and Celtic" and all the rest whose fluctuating chronology goes from the 1st century of our era to ....... our days.
