Denier intéressant, sur un flan court avec des types assez bien venus

Комментарий

Ce denier présente un avers très proche du n° 1651 de MONNAIES 41 qui était associé à un revers à l’A croiseté.

Le type du revers à la fleur est bien attribué à Rouen et la légende du droit + ROTO OECC ne laisse que peu de doute sur l’attribution à l’Église de Rouen. La légende du revers est difficile à restituer mais le Belfort est d’un type très proche avec le nom SIGGONOS M (lecture douteuse)..
This denarius has an obverse very close to number 1651 of MONNAIES 41 which was associated with a reverse with a crossed A. The type of the reverse with the flower is well attributed to Rouen and the legend on the obverse + ROTO OECC leaves little doubt about the attribution to the Church of Rouen. The legend on the reverse is difficult to restore but the Belfort is of a very similar type with the name SIGGONOS M (doubtful reading).
