Exemplaire sur un flan légèrement ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Joli portrait de Rome, bien venu à la frappe. Revers de style fin. Belle patine de médaillier avec des reflets mordorés

The year 77 is fertile in events. Catullus and Pompey crush Lepidus, who dies in Sardinia. Caesar sues Dolabella for extortion. In Spain, the revolt of Sertorius achieves several successes and he is joined by Perpena. Pompey, sent to Spain to put down the rebellion, takes the opportunity to crush a sedition in Transalpine Gaul.
