Exemplaire bien centré sur un flan un peu court et ovale, en or pâle. Frappe assez vigoureuse avec des types centrés. Légendes assez facilement restituables

Ce triens est attribué à Saint-Denis et plus précisément au monétaire Ebregiselvs. Le style est celui des triens 1475-1480 avec le même type de tête et une légende de droit approchante (bien qu’incomplète). Le revers correspond aux monnaies d’Ebregiselvs, avec une légende EBCESIGIRO partiellement hors flan et simplifiée, comparable à celle des triens B. 1476-1477.
Ce triens semble manquer au Prou qui, pour Saint-Denis, n'a que les monnaies de ce monnayeur avec la légende CATVLLACO au droit.
Selon Ponton D'Amécourt, la monnaie de sa collection (d’un type approchant à celui proposé ici) a été frappée peu après 634 et le coin a été gravé par un artiste venu d'Austrasie (D'Amécourt, Ann., t. VIII, p. 254)..
This triens is attributed to Saint-Denis and more precisely to the mint Ebregiselvs. The style is that of the triens 1475-1480 with the same type of head and a similar obverse legend (although incomplete). The reverse corresponds to the coins of Ebregiselvs, with a legend EBCESIGIRO partially off-flan and simplified, comparable to that of the triens B. 1476-1477. This triens seems to be missing from Prou which, for Saint-Denis, only has the coins of this mint with the legend CATVLLACO on the obverse. According to Ponton D'Amécourt, the coin in his collection (of a type similar to the one proposed here) was struck shortly after 634 and the die was engraved by an artist from Austrasia (D'Amécourt, Ann., t. VIII, p. 254).
