Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale et épais, bien centré, mais un peu court sur les légendes. Très beau portrait de Septime Sévère. Joli revers inhabituel. Belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés et bleutés acier

SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS

Septimius Severus was born in 146 in Leptis Magna in Africa (Libya). After a brilliant military career under the reigns of Marc Aurèle and Commodus, he was consul suffect in 185.
