Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan large et ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Beau buste de Séverine. Très joli revers avec une faiblesse de frappe sur la légende. Belle patine grise avec des reflets dorés. Conserve l’intégralité de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Wife of Aurelian - Augusta

Séverine, who receives the title of augusta in 274, survives her husband Aurélien, assassinated by a palace conspiracy.
