Exemplaire sur un flan très large, ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets. Très beau portrait de Séverine. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Patine gris foncé avec des reflets métalliques dorés. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Wife of Aurelian - Augusta

Séverine, who receives the title of augusta in 274, survives her husband Aurélien, assassinated by a palace conspiracy. A three-month interregnum ensued, during which Séverine may continue to settle current affairs with the help of the Senate.
