Exemplaire sur un petit flan épais, légèrement décentré au droit sur l’aurige et la Niké. Très beau portrait au revers. Magnifique patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Реверс: Описание: Tête féminine (Tanit) à droite, les cheveux tirés en arrière avec une couronne d'épis, boucles d'oreille et collier entourée de quatre dauphins.

SICILY - SICULO-PUNIC - KEPHALOEDION
(350-325 BC)
The attribution of the Punic imitations of the Syracusan coinage to Cephaloedium is not certain because Selinunte and Panorme, among other towns in Sicily, also attract attention. According to some authors, these tetradrachms were only minted between 409 and 396 BC. After this date, Hieron of Syracuse took over these cities from the Carthaginians.
