Comme la fabrication pour collectionneur d’un tel jeton en plomb semble hautement improbable, on peut penser qu’il s’agit d’une fabrication de la période révolutionnaire en ce métal, faute d’argent. On notera que le 6 n’est pas retourné et qu’il ne s’agit donc pas d’une épreuve de graveur comme le Feuardent 4902.
Buste absent de Feuardent et probablement spécifique à ce jeton. Feuardent en cite la légende et le référence 397 A, buste totalement différent du nôtre sur ses planches, certainement une erreur. Daté 1786 avec le 6 retourné.
As the manufacture of such a lead token for collectors seems highly unlikely, we can assume that it is a manufacture of the revolutionary period in this metal, due to lack of silver. It should be noted that the 6 is not reversed and that it is therefore not an engraver's proof like Feuardent 4902. Bust absent from Feuardent and probably specific to this token. Feuardent cites the legend and the reference 397 A, a bust totally different from ours on his plates, certainly an error. Dated 1786 with the 6 reversed
