Les tétradrachmes de Titus, tous datés de l’an 3 de Vespasien pour l’année 71 semblent se rattacher au huitième groupe de M. Prieur. La présence de la massue dans le champ à gauche avait laissé attribuer ces pièces à l’atelier de Tyr. Assigné aujourd’hui à l’atelier d’Antioche, ce type de tétradrachmes pourrait avoir été frappé à Jérusalem (Judæa Capta) juste après la chute de la cité. Michel Prieur a relevé dix-sept exemplaires pour cette variété. Les auteurs du Roman Provincial Coinage pour un total de 50 pièces pour l’ensemble du règne de Titus ont relevé 9 coins de droit.
The tetradrachms of Titus, all dated to the year 3 of Vespasian for the year 71, seem to belong to the eighth group of M. Prieur. The presence of the club in the left field had led to the attribution of these coins to the mint of Tyre.
