Patine hétérogène avec la présence de taches sombres à l’avers et sur la tranche. Des rayures et des petits coups sont visibles à l’avers, au revers et sur la tranche. Des traces d’usure sont également visibles sur les reliefs

Аверс: легенда: MARIAGE CHRETIEN.
Аверс: описание: Un prêtre debout à droite, tourné vers la gauche, bénit un couple agenouillé devant lui. Il tient un livre dans la main gauche et une croix rayonnante dans la main droite, levée au dessus du couple. Derrière le prêtre, un autel parcouru de lierre sur lequel est déposé un calice.

LOVE AND MARRIAGE
It was customary in the past to give a treizain during the wedding mass. This treizain was blessed and signified entry into a community of property for the married couple. The treizain, which later became a medal or wedding token, was so called in honor of Jesus Christ and the twelve apostles. This practice continued until the first half of the 20th century. The reference work on the subject is the work of Jules Florange, Love and marriage in numismatics, Moulins, 1936 now replaced by that of Henri Térisse, La Numismatique du Mariage, Argenton-sur-Creuse 2008.
