Exemplaire sur un flan large, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très joli droit. Revers de style fin. Belle patine de collection avec des reflets dorés

ARAB-SASANIAN - TABARISTAN - ARABI GOVERNORS
(7th - 8th century)
Several Arab governors succeeded one another in Tabaristan between 31 and 148 of the Hegira era, that is between 1 and 114 of the later era of Yazdgard III (632-651), the last Sassanid ruler, that is between 652 and 765 AD. Farkan, the grandson of the founder of the Ispahbad dynasty is the best known of these governors.
