Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré. Haut relief au droit et au revers, finement détaillé. Patine grise superficielle avec des reflets dorés

Реверс: Описание: Autel entre deux prêtres, du Soleil à gauche et de la Lune à droite, entouré d'un triple grènetis, au-dessus quatre croissants surmontés d'étoiles ; dans le champ, quatre groupes de trois globules posés en triangle.

Cette hemidrachme appartiendrait à Jarir, gouverneur du Tabaristan entre 786 et 788 (AH 170-172)).

ARAB-SASANIAN - TABARISTAN - ARABI GOVERNORS
(7th - 8th century)
Several Arab governors succeeded one another in Tabaristan between 31 and 148 of the Hegira era, that is between 1 and 114 of the later era of Yazdgard III (632-651), the last Sassanid ruler, that is between 652 and 765 AD. Farkan, the grandson of the founder of the Ispahbad dynasty is the best known of these governors.
