Аверс: описание: Tête imberbe de Dionysos, coiffé de la couronne de vigne.

Реверс: легенда: MONOGRAMME.

Реверс: Описание: Carquois (goryte) décoré (zizag) avec son baudrier ; dans le champ à gauche, un monogramme.

Комментарий

Poids très lourd. Carquois richement ornementé avec sa ceinture (baudrier), une frise décorative et à l’intérieur les flèches. Ce type était attribué à Phanogoria par Pierre Strauss dans le catalogue de la collection Maurice Laffaille , peut-être à cause du monogramme dans le champ du revers. Il faut rendre ce monnayage à Panticapée. D’après Hoover (HGCS. 9/ 110) ce type serait frappé sous le règne de Macharès (76-65 avant J.-C.) qui prend la suite de Mithridates VI dans la région.
Very heavy weight. Richly ornamented quiver with its belt (baldric), a decorative frieze and inside the arrows. This type was attributed to Phanogoria by Pierre Strauss in the catalog of the Maurice Laffaille collection, perhaps because of the monogram in the field of the reverse. This coinage must be attributed to Panticapaeum. According to Hoover (HGCS. 9/ 110) this type would be struck during the reign of Machares (76-65 BC) who took over from Mithridates VI in the region
