Flan très large, irrégulier et complet avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait de style fin et grêle. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Patine vert foncé

Le seul exemplaire signalé est celui du musée de Münich (AMNG 1245), mais est différent de notre exemplaire. Semble complètement inédit et non répertorié. Manque aux principaux ouvrages consultés.

Augustus
Commodus succeeded his father Marc Aurèle, who died in Vienna on March 17, 180. He hastened to conclude a truce with the Germanic tribes and then abandoned public life. The Empire was successively governed by the prefects of the Praetorium, Perennis from 182 to 185, Cléandre from 185 to 190, who were both assassinated. Commodus suffocated on the night of December 31, 192.
