Exemplaire sur un flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles à l’usure superficielle. Belle tête de Dioclétien. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Patine marron foncé légèrement granuleuse

Augustus

Diocletian, born in 245 in Dalmatia (Split), is an Illyrian emperor. Diocletian is the first emperor of the Lower Empire, according to the expression of Gibbons, and the founder of the dominion.
