(1824-1847)

Charles-Louis (1800-1847) was the son of Louis I of Bourbon, the short-lived King of Etruria (1801-1803) under the regency of his mother, Marie-Louise. In 1807, its states were annexed to France. Following the Congress of Vienna, Marie-Louise comes into possession of the Duchy of Lucca. Charles-Louis becomes duke on the death of his mother. On his death, the duchy was attached to the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
