Les pièces SCANCOIN & EUROCOIN ont été fabriquées pour les entreprises du même nom, pour tester leurs appareils (trieuses, monnayeurs etc.) juste avant le passage à l’ Euro. Le mise en place de la nouvelle monnaie impliquant pour celles-ci de mettre leurs machines aux normes.
Cette pièce n’est pas un essai, il s’agit plutôt d’un jeton de la Monnaie de Paris
