Fulvia is the daughter of Marcus Fulvius and Sempronia. She married Marc Antoine in 46 BC and gave him two sons. She is also Octave's mother-in-law when he marries his daughter Claudia, Octave's first wife. She hates Octave and tries to go up against her son-in-law the consul Lucius Antoine, brother of Antoine, at the origin of the war of Perugia. Besieged, the consul is forced to surrender to Octave, who forgives him and then sends him to govern Spain, where he dies shortly afterwards. Octavian has the son of Antony and Fulvia executed when he seizes Egypt in 30 BC.
