Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 393 coins de droit et de 491 coins de revers. C’est l’un des deniers les plus courants pour la période ; entre huit cent mille et un million deux cent mille pourraient avoir été frappés d’après l’estimation du nombre de coins. Le nom du magistrat s’écrit Fouria, pour Furia. Pour Simone Scheers, ce type pourrait constituer le prototype du monnayage suession (LT. 8106) à la tête janiforme et au lion. Au revers, les attributs sont gaulois : boucliers, casque, cuirasse, deux carnyx et peut-être une enseigne et sont particulièrement bien venus sur cet exemplaire.
For this type, Mr. Crawford noted an estimate of 393 obverse dies and 491 reverse dies. This is one of the most common denarii for the period; between eight hundred thousand and one million two hundred thousand could have been struck according to the estimate of the number of dies. The name of the magistrate is written Fouria, for Furia. For Simone Scheers, this type could constitute the prototype of the Suession coinage (LT. 8106) with the janiform head and the lion. On the reverse, the attributes are Gallic: shields, helmet, breastplate, two carnyxes and perhaps a standard and are particularly well placed on this example
