Agréable monnaie en bon or, et bien centrée, mais frappée avec un coin de droit très usé. Cette monnaie de frappe molle a circulé mais conserve un aspect très agréable

Комментарий

Le Muret-Chabouillet, ainsi que Hucher décrivent au revers une “figure couchée tenant de chaque main une tête par les cheveux”. Dans L’Or gaulois, cahier Ernest Babelon, les auteurs distinguent cette série “au personnage allongé et tenant deux objets ovoïdes”, série reprise dans le Nouvel Atlas.
Cet exemplaire est très proche du n° 76 du trésor des Sablons, type II ; ces deux monnaies sont issues du même coin.
Le Muret-Chabouillet, as well as Hucher, describe on the reverse a “reclining figure holding a head by the hair in each hand”. In L'Or gaulois, Ernest Babelon notebook, the authors distinguish this series “with a reclining figure holding two ovoid objects”, a series included in the New Atlas. This example is very close to No. 76 of the Sablons treasure, type II; these two coins come from the same die
