Exemplaire frappé sur un flan très fin et aux contours irréguliers avec des manques de métal, mais l'ensemble des types de droit et de revers sont néanmoins identifiables. Frappe vigoureuse mais patine grise assez hétérogène

Реверс: Описание: Cheval libre galopant à droite, la tête formée par un petit triangle ouvert à l'extrémité globulée ; au-dessus, une S inversée et pointée et un animal allongé à tête triangulaire ; entre les pattes, un sanglier enseigne à droite.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
