Flan un peu court et centré. Une faiblesse de frappe à une heure. Une belle tête cependant, et une jolie frappe incuse. Patine grise, de légers reflets bleutés

Ces deniers se répartissent en deux classes ; le droit de la première est assez fin, avec un traitement relativement naturaliste alors que le droit de la seconde est très stylisé avec un gros œil en amande et un nez terminant le front.

(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC).
