Bronze assez bien identifiable pour ce type rare et souvent fruste. Patine verte un peu hétérogène

Аверс: описание: Tête très stylisée à droite ; l'œil en annelet, le champ orné de petits croissants, d'annelets et de globules.

Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Реверс: Описание: Oiseau à gauche, un sanglier (?) dans ses serres ; des annelets et des esses dans le champ ; grènetis de gros globules.

Комментарий

L’exemplaire type de ce rare bronze qui illustre le Nouvel Atlas est repris du Traité de S. Scheers.
Il est intéressant de noter que le petit animal tenu dans les serres de l’aigle correspond dans son traitement à ceux qui ornent le potin dit aux animaux affrontés attribué aussi aux Meldes.
The type copy of this rare bronze which illustrates the New Atlas is taken from the Treatise of S. Scheers. It is interesting to note that the small animal held in the claws of the eagle corresponds in its treatment to those which adorn the potin called to the animals confronted also attributed to the Meldes
