Flan large, avec un droit un peu mou mais bien identifiable. Revers bien net avec une importante cassure de coin. Fine patine grise et granuleuse

Pour les drachmes de cette série, le revers a toujours la même combinaison, mais la classification permet de distinguer au moins trois types différents ;
- avec un traitement assez fin et un grènetis discret et régulier (S. 281).
- avec un traitement plus grossier, tant du visage que du grènetis (S. 281 bis).
- sur un flan large et rond, avec une grosse tête poupone (inédite).
Ce type de chevelure est très caractéristique. Il semble pourtant que les auteurs de Moneta 28 aient négligé et ignoré ce type si particulier
