Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale avec les grènetis complets. Très beau portrait, bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers de style fin. A été légèrement nettoyé. Recouvert d’une fine patine avec des reflets dorés

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
