Médaille décernée à Henri Chevriot pour ses années de service (1914-1951) à la chambre de commerce de Reims.

Alexis-Joseph Depaulis, né le 30 août 1790 à Paris, où il meurt le 29 septembre 1867, est un sculpteur et médailleur français.
Depaulis est l'élève d'Andrieux et de Cartier. Il rentre à École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts en 1813 et expose au Salon de peinture et de sculpture de 1815 à 1855. Parmi ses médailles, on peut citer : Cadmus combattant le serpent, Mariage chrétien (1824), Vénus de Milo (1827), l'Avènement du roi Louis-Philippe Ier (1830). Il réalise des médailles pour la Galerie métallique des grands hommes français. Il réunit une collection de moulages, de médailles et de sceaux qui sont conservées les unes au musée du Louvre, les autres à l'école des beaux-arts de Paris.
Il est l'auteur du Monument de Pierre Corneille à Rouen (1835), de la Fondation du musée de Versailles (1839) et de la Prise de Saint-Jean-d'Ulloa (1855)..

Alexis-Joseph Depaulis, born on August 30, 1790 in Paris, where he died on September 29, 1867, was a French sculptor and medalist. Depaulis was a student of Andrieux and Cartier. He entered the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in 1813 and exhibited at the Salon of Painting and Sculpture from 1815 to 1855. Among his medals are: Cadmus Fighting the Serpent, Christian Marriage (1824), Venus de Milo (1827), and the Accession of King Louis-Philippe I (1830). He created medals for the Metallic Gallery of Great French Men. He assembled a collection of casts, medals and seals, some of which are kept at the Louvre Museum and others at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is the author of the Monument to Pierre Corneille in Rouen (1835), the Foundation of the Museum of Versailles (1839) and the Capture of Saint-Jean-d'Ulloa (1855).

Characterized by a parliamentary regime coupled with great ministerial instability, the Fourth Republic has the particularity of never having been officially proclaimed. Indeed, De Gaulle, when he arrived in Paris on August 25, 1944, refused to do so on the pretext that the Republic had never ceased to exist. Considering that the French State of Marshal Pétain was only a simple state of affairs, he considers that the Republic survived in free France and his birth certificate must then be June 18, 1940. However, his departure, the January 20, 1946, and the referendum of October 13, 1946 approving a new Constitution, mark the official beginning of this republic. It knows two presidents: Vincent Auriol (16/01/1947 - 23/12/1953) and René Coty (23/12/1953 - 8/1/1959). The open crisis caused by the revolt of the army of Algeria leads, in 1958, to its fall which is confirmed by the adoption of a new constitution on September 28, 1958. Nevertheless, it does not cease definitively until the 8 January 1959 when General de Gaulle was installed as President of the Fifth Republic.
