Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et éclaté à 5 heures au droit. Beau portrait. Frappe un peu faible au revers. Très jolie patine vert olive

Trace de double frappe au droit. Rubans de type 3. Diadème marqué. Ptéryges à peine visibles sous le paludamentum. Pour l’an 30 (556/557), nous n’avons pas d’officine.

Justinian succeeded his uncle Justin in 527 after a co-regency from April 4 to August 1, 527. He reigned with Empress Theodora. The construction of Hagia Sophia was completed under his reign, which marks the height of the Byzantine conquests.
